EXCELLENT Based on 53 reviews Brinley O2024-07-30Verified Good vibes and food the accommodations were great for a good price. we went for the Belize international festival and was provided safe boat transportation to and from the hotel. The front desk was also helpful when it came to questions and requests. Looking forward to another trip there! The breakfast was also very delicious! My only regret is not staying there longer. Brianne P2024-07-28Verified A memorable experience Hotel is clean. Daryl the manager is fantastic. He had everything ready for us when we arrived and so organized. He is courteous; patience; hardworking polite and I can say more. The hotel is very quiet and offers awesome views from any point in your rooms. It is like home away from home and we cannot wait to return. Aftan L2024-03-17Verified If you have the opportunity to stay here...do it! We cannot recommend Brahma Blue enough. We travel a ton and can't remember another time when the customer service was as high as it was here. Darryl especially went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of from our check in to check out: all our taxis, an amazing snorkel tour, drinking water, and even an early boat ride so we could catch the 6am ferry to BZE. In fact, I was a little mind-blown that they were able to offer so many amenities considering the few amount of rooms: a full restaurant, an on-demand spa, pool, on-site activities, kayaks, on and on.... Typically you have to see a hotel with 50+ rooms before you see all these extras. We will definitely stay here again when we come back. Levi H2023-11-26Verified friendsgiving 2023 We stayed in the penthouse at Brahma Blue for four days and had a wonderful experience. The penthouse was separated into one common kitchen area with three separate bedrooms and baths, all with their own remote AC units and running water. Staff: Darryl and his staff were incredibly accommodating, keeping the rooms immaculate and providing us with a supply of constant fresh water over the duration of our stay. They also were very attentive to any issues, such as a broken coffee machine, which was fixed within hours. In addition, when we arrived, there were a LOT of mosquitoes and within moments had someone upstairs to smoke them out. Travel: There were boats available to ferry us conveniently back to the main island at our request and they were always on time and available to be scheduled. This is typically between 7am-10pm and scheduled through WhatsApp. Coconut Cove: on staff food was excellent. We ate there and had free welcome drinks. Highly recommend the food. TLDR: Our stay at Brahma Blue was an overall wonderful experience that we would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a more private, comfortable oceanside stay. Loralyn W2023-01-31Verified Great hotel for a family It's great when a resort is exactly what you hoped it would be. A beautiful location, was great to away from the main area which was peaceful and safer for our teens to wander around without us. We spent 6 nights here with our 3 teens. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was clean, chairs comfortable, and we liked using kitchen in room for snacks and the treat- slushies with the blender. The Coconut Cafe had delicious food at good prices and enough variety for our picky eater and our vegetarian. We made use of the kayaks and campfire on site. Day trips were renting a golf cart to visit secret beach, exploring the town, volunteering by walking dogs at San Pedro's pet rescue and a highlight- snorkeling at Hol Chan. Perfect vacation of adventure and relaxation. Misi S2023-01-28Verified AMAZING Escape the crazy of Ambergris! So serene- felt like we were on a private island . Amazing service and amazing location. Take a 5 minute free pontoon ride over to one of our favorite places on the planet. Must try!! Dr_C_and_E2022-12-31Verified HUGE, spacious Suites Nice to escape chaos of golf carts in San Pedro, by popping on/off the Brahma Blue boat each day. (Boat ride is much smoother than navigating San Pedro’s bumpy roads.) We stayed as an extended family in two of their 2-bedroom suites. HUGE square footage, full kitchen and beautiful views of the lagoon to the West. (We frequently ate good food at Coconut Cafe, which was a simply 3 minute walk away -loved their “Belizean Breakfast.”) Thank you to all of Brahma Blue’s staff, especially Jamil and Dylan; they went out of their way to make our vacation as comfortable as possible. KCMORL2022-08-09Verified A Nice Family Vacation At Brahma Blue My husband, daughter and I stayed at the Brahma Blue for 5 days in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom sunset suite. The size of the suite was great for our family. The suite was spacious and having a full kitchen was great for us, particularly because my daughter has food allergies, and this allowed us to prepare her food with ease. The suite was adequately appointed, and we had everything that we needed available. However, our particular suite had a somewhat unpleasant order, a few areas where paint was chipping and what appeared to be water damage near the air conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms. In full disclosure, I did not ask for a room change, but based on the stellar service provided at Brahma Blue, I am sure the team there would have done everything in their power to ensure we were satisfied with our room. We traveled with a group who had a mixture of accommodation types at Brahma Blue, other 2-bedroom units appeared to be in better condition than our suite and the villas are absolutely fabulous. If you are looking for a low-key resort to relax and enjoy time together with family, friends or your significant other, Brahma Blue is a great option. However, it is important to manage your expectations. This is a small resort with one restaurant, a small pool and a lagoon(no direct beach access). A few tips: Bring LOTS of bug spray. We have traveled to many tropical locations and the mosquitoes in Belize are fierce. There is a shuttle schedule for the ferry from Brahma Blue to San Pedro. Learn the schedule, but for an additional fee off-schedule boat transportation can be arranged. Try the local fare. The food was really good almost everywhere we ate. Explore Belize. While San Pedro is beautiful, if you have the time and resources during your stay explore mainland Belize. There is a lot to see. Thomas B2022-06-30Verified Great Stay Located 5 minutes across the bay from the city. The boat ride is just a wonderfull way to calm down after the excitment. The condo was great and the sun rise east and sunsey west from the room was AMAZING!! The resort had a pool, vollyball court and friendly staff. My wife and i had a fantastic time and will positively visit again. STP MN Traveler2021-12-28Verified Brahma Blue was awesome! We stayed for a week with our two daughters. We loved the fact that it was a private oasis away from San Pedro. The rooms were large and clean with a great view off our balcony's of the lagoon. The swimming pool was refreshing and drinks could be ordered from Coconut Cafe, the on-site restaurant. We loved the fact that we could come back from a day out on a tour and know we could have a great local meal onsite. Sairi at the front desk was so friendly and helpful our whole stay and took care of scheduling awesome tours and our flights between the island. The speedboat ferry with Dino across the lagoon to town was quick and always on time. We highly recommend staying at Brahma Blue!
